Dr. Matthew DeFelice received his Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University in 1991, and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed his general practice residency in 1996, and then four years later, finished his oral and maxillofacial training from Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA.
In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Nashville, Dr. DeFelice has been an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in private practice. He has also been on the Hospital Staff at Scottsdale Healthcare in Scottsdale, AZ since 2004, and Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN since 2012. Dr. DeFelice also volunteers his time outside the country by providing care to the people of Mexico.
Dr. DeFelice has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesia. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association, to name a few. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, running, and traveling.
