Why is ClearChoice the right option for my dental implants?
Getting dental implants is a big decision, and it’s smart to do your research to make sure you’re getting lasting quality and value for your money. ClearChoice stands out in two very distinct ways. First, we only use high-quality materials, like titanium support bars. Second, our doctors’ sole focus is on one thing — dental implants. Our dedication to our patients is why over 40,000 people have chosen ClearChoice for their dental restoration. Learn more about what makes ClearChoice a leader in dental implants.
Why is it important to have a prosthodontist and an oral surgeon working together on my treatment?
Our clinical staff utilizes surgical implant placement techniques that require deep knowledge and experience. Your ClearChoice team is highly trained in the complexities of the bone, skin, muscles and nerves, and is focused every day on creating functional, natural-looking teeth.
Will I have to go to multiple locations for different steps of the treatment process?
At ClearChoice, your entire dental team, the lab and your support staff are all together under one roof. This is not only highly efficient, but it also allows your team to be extremely collaborative. Getting dental implants used to mean a lot of running around and waiting. You’d have to make separate visits to different specialists, wait on scans, wait for records to be transferred, and wait for all parties to communicate. With ClearChoice, you’ll be working with the same team of dental implant professionals at the same center throughout the entire process of our all-in-one approach.
Candidates for the Procedure
My teeth are in really bad shape. Am I still a candidate for dental implants?
In our experience, most people can safely receive dental implants. Whether you’re missing one tooth or many, dental implants may be the best choice for you. Plus, at ClearChoice, our doctors are experienced in treating patients with complex cases that may even have been turned away by others. The best way to find out if you’re a candidate is to visit us for a free consultation.
Is age a determining factor?
Age is not necessarily a factor when determining dental implant placement. ClearChoice has successfully treated patients ranging from their early 20s to their 90s. The best way to find out if you're a candidate is to schedule a free consultation online or by calling 888-651-9950.
I’ve been wearing dentures for years. Is it still possible to switch to dental implants?
Most people who already have dentures are good candidates for ClearChoice dental implants, even if they’ve been wearing them for years. Although dentures accelerate jawbone loss, this doesn’t necessarily mean you will need bone grafting. Your ClearChoice team will take a 3-D CT scan during your free consultation to examine your bone structure and determine the right treatment plan for you. Schedule a free consultation online or by calling 888-651-9950.
Cost and Insurance
Do you offer third party payment plans or financing options?
ClearChoice works closely with leading healthcare financing companies to provide payment plans for our patients who qualify. A member of your team will review various third-party financing options with you, so you may decide what fits your budget. Together, we’ll explore the various options available.
Is the procedure covered by insurance?
While dental implants are generally not covered by medical or dental insurance, a variety of third-party financing options are available. At your free consultation, a member of our team can walk you through the various options for helping fit the cost of dental implants into your budget.
How much does the procedure cost? Can you give me an estimated price?
We understand that cost is an important consideration. From the actual surgical requirements to your individual smile design options, there are many factors that influence the price. That’s why we provide you with an exact, all-inclusive price at your free consultation after the doctor's evaluation, rather than a ballpark price that might not be accurate for your specific condition and treatment needs. You can schedule by calling 888-651-9950 or using our secure online form.
What is included in the price?
Our pricing includes everything you need for your entire treatment process. This includes the prosthodontist evaluation, a variety of pain management options during the surgical procedure, all extractions (if applicable), the implants, temporary crowns, permanent crowns, and multiple post-op checks. Treatment plans vary based on each patient’s needs, which is why a ClearChoice doctor will evaluate you during your free consultation so we can provide an exact cost. You can schedule by calling 888-651-9950 or using our secure online form.
How long is the consultation appointment?
Your free consultation will last approximately an hour. You’ll meet your ClearChoice team, discuss your dental health goals, understand your preliminary treatment plan, and receive an exact, all-inclusive price. To learn more, visit the Initial Consultation page.
How do I reschedule or cancel my consultation?
You can reschedule or cancel your free consultation online under the Schedule section of our website, or you can call 888-651-9950. Please keep in mind that the ClearChoice doctor and staff are reserving an hour of their time for your free consultation, so if you are no longer able to make your appointment, we would greatly appreciate advance notice. We understand that scheduling conflicts may come up, so we’re happy to help find a new appointment time that works for you.
Can I bring someone with me to the consultation?
We encourage you to bring a support person, such as a family member or close friend, along with you to your initial consultation. Together, you can ensure all of your questions are answered and every option is considered.
Procedure and Recovery
Is the procedure painful?
ClearChoice doctors work to make you as comfortable as possible. Depending on the procedure, your doctor will recommend pain management options to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible. Afterwards, most of our patients report that they experienced far less pain than anticipated.
Can I bring someone with me for support?
Yes. In fact, we recommend that you bring a family member or a friend. They’ll help you feel more at ease before the procedure, and afterwards, you’ll be able to show them the new you!
How long does the actual procedure take?
Most patients walk into ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in the morning and leave later that same day with a new smile. Here’s a basic idea of what happens during a typical procedure: Your doctor may administer IV sedation, depending on your treatment plan, perform the implant procedure and then you’ll rest in our recovery room as your anesthesia wears off. The teeth you leave with are your temporary teeth. After healing, we’ll replace your temporary teeth with your new, personalized teeth.
Is it really all done in one day? What does one day mean?
We understand you're eager to get a healthy new set of teeth and get back to eating, smiling and feeling like yourself. The surgical procedure itself is usually completed in one day, but the entire treatment process is not. We take the time to get to know you, your health, and your treatment goals before the procedure. After the procedure, we dedicate time to making sure that you're healing well and that your new smile looks, fits and feels just right.
How long is the recovery period?
As you can imagine, this differs for every patient. Many patients say they don’t experience significant discomfort beyond swelling and don’t even need pain medication after the procedure. You will be on a soft food diet for a few weeks, which allows your implants to heal. After that, you’ll be able to enjoy all your favorite foods again.
How Dental Implants Look, Feel, Function
Will my dental implants function like real teeth?
Your new teeth will not only look and feel like natural teeth, they’ll also function like healthy, strong teeth. With ClearChoice Dental Implants® you’ll be able to bite into all your favorite foods again with confidence.
I don’t want people to know I have implants. Will my smile look like I have real teeth?
Dental implants actually become an integrated part of your mouth because they adhere to the jawbone, like “real” teeth. You’ll be able to brush, floss, eat and smile as if you’d had these teeth your entire life. You can even work with our master lab technicians to determine the shape, color, and size of your teeth to make them look completely natural.
My dental issues make me look older than I feel. Will dental implants help?
Dental implants can help you avoid or reverse an aged appearance because they support the shape of your lips, cheeks, and chin in the same way that natural teeth can. Dental implants also help to stimulate the jawbone and prevent bone loss, which causes a sunken in look around the mouth area.
After I have dental implants, how do I care for them?
Caring for your ClearChoice Dental Implants® is easy. Brush them like you would natural teeth and floss around them to keep your gums healthy. You don’t need to remove them on a daily basis like you would dentures. During the treatment process, your clinical team will give you specific instructions and helpful tips for caring for your dental implants.
How Dental Implants Affect Health
Will dental implants help me improve my oral health?
Research shows that dental implants don’t lead to an increased risk of gum disease, tooth decay or root canal problems. Plus, because implants are made up of titanium and other materials that are compatible with the human body, they integrate with bone and provide a stimulus that keeps the jawbone from deteriorating. Will dental implants help me improve my health overall?
Dental implants can help you improve your overall health. Restoring the ability to chew and bite allows you to eat more nutritious foods, like raw fruits and vegetables and nuts. Also, dental health is linked to heart health. To learn more, visit the Benefits of Implants page.
